How it gets scoped
Resets are scoped by area and condition, not by square-foot averages. Two buildings of the same size can be very different projects.
The verification step exists so the finish line is defined before the work starts.

A facility reset is a one-time, whole-building or whole-area project that takes a building from its current condition to an agreed standard, then documents that it got there. It is not a recurring service and it does not replace one.
The value is in the definition. Scope, sequence, access and verification are settled before crews mobilize, so completion is something both sides can point at rather than argue about.

- Mobilize — crews, equipment and materials staged before the window opens.
- Reset — execution area by area, top down, with progress tracked against the plan.
- Verify — walkthrough against the written scope with before and after documentation.
Scoping
Why square footage alone will not price a reset
Two identical buildings can be very different resets. One has been maintained and needs an overhead pass and a floor restoration. The other has ten years of residue on structure, a contaminated slab and wall panel that has never been washed.
Resets are therefore scoped area by area from condition. The typical package combines high dusting, wall and panel cleaning and industrial floor cleaning, with additional scopes added where the walk shows they are needed.
